Heading out to look for the saddle horses who got a winter break after working all season. It is common to turn the working ranch horses out after they have worked hard for 3 or 4 months; they have earned there time off.

Ranch horses are asked to cover all different types of terrain including  desert, volcanic rock, elevations, hard packed gravel roads, as well as the lush meadows. They don’t always look”show ready” however, they are ready at a moments notice for any job asked of them.
